From Charlottesville Area

 

1)                 Take Route 29 South – look for Business 29 in Madison Heights

2)                 Take Business 29 South – once over the James River bridge it turns into 5th Street

3)                 Once you cross the railroad tracks 5th Street turns into Memorial Avenue

4)                 Turn RIGHT at traffic light -  Lakeside Drive (E.C. Glass High School on your right)

5)                 Turn LEFT into PLAZA Shopping Center

6)                 Turn RIGHT at the end of the Bus Stop (pass a bank, ABC & Dollar Tree stores)

7)                 Turn RIGHT just before Radio Shack – turn LEFT at stop sign

8)                 Virginia Workforce Center / Region 2000 Career Center is 1st building on the left

 

From Danville/Martinsville Area

 

1)                 Take Route 29 North/Route 501 North also known as Route 29  Expressway

2)                 Take JAMES St exit – at end of exit turn LEFT

3)                 Go to top of the hill – turn left – at Yield sign bear RIGHT (Oakley Avenue)

4)                 Take Oakley Avenue to Memorial Avenue – turn RIGHT

5)                 Turn LEFT at McDonald’s

6)                 Enter into the PLAZA Shopping Center

7)                 Head for Radio Shack – take road beside Radio Shack

8)                 At stop sign turn LEFT

9)                 Virginia Workforce Center / Region 2000 Career Center is 1st building on LEFT

 

 

From Roanoke Area

 

1)     Take Route 460 East to Route 29 North/Route 501 North also known as Route 29  Expressway

2)     Take JAMES St exit – at end of exit turn LEFT

3)     Go to top of the hill – turn left – at Yield sign bear RIGHT (Oakley Avenue)

4)     Take Oakley Avenue to Memorial Avenue – turn RIGHT

1)     Take Route 460 West to Route 29 North/Route 501 Business

2)     Take Campbell Avenue exit (3A) to Kemper Street (get in left lane)

3)     Take Kemper Street to Park Avenue

4)     Take Oakley Avenue to Memorial Avenue – turn RIGHT

5)     At intersection of Park & Memorial go straight across (Library is on the corner)

6)     Enter into the PLAZA Shopping Center

7)     Head for Radio Shack – take road beside Radio Shack

8)     At stop sign turn LEFT

9)     Virginia Workforce Center / Region 2000 Career Center is 1st building on LEFT

 

 

From South Boston Area

 

 1.    Take Rt. 501 North to Rt. 460 West

 2.    Take Rt. 29 North/Rt. 501 North

 3.    Take Rt. 29 North to James Street exit

 4.    At end of exit ramp turn LEFT

 5.    Go to stop sign at top of hill turn LEFT

 6.    At Yield sign bear RIGHT

 7.    Go 2 traffic light turn RIGHT onto Memorial Avenue

8.        Once on Memorial Avenue turn LEFT at 2nd traffic light (library on left & Dollar  

         General across the street)

 9.    Make 2nd LEFT at THE PLAZA sign

10.    At end of bus stop turn RIGHT
